MITCon 2026 is the Multimedia Innovations and Technology Conference, organized by the Department of Multimedia, Farook College (Autonomous). It brings together academicians, researchers, and media professionals to explore how Artificial Intelligence is transforming media, creativity, and communication. The two-day global event features keynotes, paper presentations, plenary sessions, and cultural programs that encourage collaboration and innovation across disciplines.

MITCon 2026 will take place on 14–15 January 2026 at Farook College (Autonomous), Kozhikode, Kerala, India. The main sessions will be hosted at Parisons Hall, with additional venues including AVT Hall and UG Seminar Hall within the campus. Kozhikode offers excellent connectivity by air, rail, and road, ensuring convenient access for all national and international participants.

The conference welcomes academicians, researchers, professionals, artists, and students from diverse disciplines related to multimedia, communication, and technology. Participants can register as paper presenters, poster presenters, or attendees. MITCon 2026 encourages both established experts and emerging scholars to share insights, exchange ideas, and build connections through a multidisciplinary and inclusive platform.

The central theme of MITCon 2026 is “Multimedia & AI: Transforming Media, Creativity and Research.” The conference focuses on how Artificial Intelligence is revolutionizing storytelling, content creation, and communication practices across industries. Discussions will also highlight ethical, psychological, and social perspectives, encouraging participants to envision a responsible, human-centered approach to AI-driven media innovation.

Participants can submit their abstracts and full papers through the official MITCon 2026 submission portal or via email to mitcon@farookcollege.ac.in. Abstracts should not exceed 500 words, and full papers must be between 5,000–8,000 words, following APA 7th edition format. All submissions will undergo double-blind peer review, and selected papers may be published in conference proceedings or partner journals.

MITCon 2026 covers nine thematic tracks, including AI in Media Production, Digital Storytelling, Journalism, Academic Research, Cognitive Perspectives, Marketing, Economics, Ethics, and Social Sciences. These tracks reflect the broad interdisciplinary nature of multimedia and AI. Participants can choose a track aligned with their area of study, creative work, or research interest when submitting their papers or posters.

Registration involves three simple steps: (1) Fill out the online registration form, (2) Make payment through the provided bank details, and (3) Email proof of payment to mitcon@farookcollege.ac.in.
The registration fee covers conference access, delegate kit, lunch, refreshments, and a participation certificate. Categories include students, academicians, professionals, and industry delegates, with early registration recommended for better accommodation support.

MITCon 2026 features distinguished keynote speakers, including Prof. Payal Arora (Utrecht University, Netherlands) and Prof. Kusuma Krishna Sankar (Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi). They will deliver sessions on AI-driven transformation in media and communication. Additionally, plenary experts from institutions such as EFLU Hyderabad, IIM Kozhikode, and Christ University Bengaluru will contribute to the conference discussions.
