Dr. Bhavana S

Dr. Bhavana S holds a Master’s degree in Electronic Media from Pondicherry University and a PhD in New Media from VIT University, India. Her academic and research interests encompass new media technologies, immersive learning, and the psychological impacts of digital media on youth. She has contributed extensively to national and international journals and has been an active participant in various conferences, workshops, and faculty development programs.

In addition to her academic pursuits, Dr. Bhavana has been an advocate for integrating digital storytelling into education. At the upcoming MITCon 26 conference, scheduled for 15th January 2026, she will deliver a plenary session titled “Digital Storytelling: Crafting Narratives in the Digital Age.” In this session, she will explore the transformative power of digital narratives in modern communication, highlighting their role in enhancing engagement, fostering creativity, and facilitating deeper connections in educational contexts.
