Dr. Kusuma Krishna Sankar is a Professor at the AJK Mass Communication Research Centre, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. With over two decades of academic and professional experience, he has established himself as a leading scholar and practitioner in the field of media and communication. His teaching and research interests include Mobile Filmmaking, Script Writing, Video Editing, Communication Research, Cinema Studies, and emerging media technologies such as Mobile AR, VR, and AI Cinema.

Dr. Kusuma has authored five books, fourteen research papers, and twelve book chapters, and has developed more than thirty e-content and MOOC modules for various national and international projects. He has successfully supervised eight Ph.D. scholars and continues to mentor several others in related domains.

He has also served as Assistant Professor at the College of Applied Sciences, Sultanate of Oman, gaining valuable international academic exposure. Dr. Kusuma has collaborated with institutions such as UNESCO and the Ministry of Education (MHRD) on projects promoting media education and innovation. He currently serves as the Vice Chair of the Regional Executive Committee of the International Association for Media and Communication Research (IAMCR).
