Professor (Dr.) P. Raveendran

Dr. P. Raveendran (Poovathinthodiyil Raveendran) is the current Vice-Chancellor (VC) of the University of Calicut, appointed in 2024, and a Professor in the Chemistry Department known for his work in green chemistry, nanoscience, and computational chemistry. He previously served as Dean of Sciences, Head of Chemistry, and has significant research contributions with high-impact publications, earning fellowships in Japan and visiting scientist roles in Europe.
